Omara Fonseca began work in the Clerk's Office in March, 2005. She was appointed Village Clerk in December, 2010 with the announcement of retirement by long-time Village Clerk Ginger Galvin. Omara is responsible for customer assistance, the village payroll and computer systems. As Village Clerk she is responsible for all village records and documents. Omara has previously been employed with Household International, Hilton Chicago and ATA Airlines.

Omara's passion for photography provides the village with professional pictures of many events and projects including the village calendar. Omara moved to the village in 2008 with her son Delmar. They attend Christian Community Church.
